RSS Feed
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing web content, such as news headlines. An RSS feed highlights fresh material for you, so you don't have to repeatedly check a site yourself for updates. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various online sources, including headlines, summaries, and links to full articles.
How do I use RSS?
There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a RSS news reader, sometimes called an RSS aggregator, that displays RSS feeds from the web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. Some web browsers, such as Firefox, Maxthon, and Safari have RSS readers built in. There are also online aggregators, websites that allow you to customize them by adding RSS feeds. After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually from the Web site by clicking on the "Subscribe" or the "XML" orange button next to the feed.
